New video series to highlight

Caledonia, Stillwater, Hutchinson and Brainerd

Let’s Play Football, in conjunction with Pulltab Sports, has produced a 4-video series featuring four high school football programs throughout the state of Minnesota.

The videos take a deeper look into the football history and culture of each program and celebrate the spirit of high school football in the state of Minnesota. The programs featured this year are Caledonia, Stillwater, Hutchinson and Brainerd.

“There are so many great football programs to feature throughout our state,” said Let’s Play Football co-publisher Mike Sonntag. “We tried to find four different programs in four regions of the state, all who have a unique history and a unique story to tell.”

Caledonia, located in southeastern Minnesota, will be the first episode launched on Monday, Oct. 21. The Caledonia Warriors made national news when they won 71 consecutive games and had a string of consecutive state titles. Videos on Stillwater, Hutchinson and Brainerd will follow.

“Every program, every coach, every player in every town has a story to tell,” said Let’s Play Football co-publisher Bryan Zollman. “We hope to capture the spirit of the programs we cover. Caledonia has obviously had tremendous success. Our goal is to pull the curtain back and show everyone how they’ve done what they’ve done. Show them why they have been so successful and not just on the football field.”

The videos will run between 7-10 minutes. Pulltab Sports is a local sports and entertainment hub that has also produced the All Hockey Hair Team and is home to dozens of local sports podcasts. Let’s Play Football is also proud partners of the Minnesota Vikings.

“We hope this series casts a light onto all that is great about high school football in Minnesota,” said Sonntag. “It’s really more than just a game here. Friday nights in the fall mean something in Minnesota. It’s an important part of the fabric of schools, cities and towns throughout the state.”
