Reigning champion Minneota shuts out Braham 55-0

Junior running back Ryan Meagher ran for two touchdowns and caught another and senior quarterback Ryan Dalager threw three touchdown passes, two of them to Max Rost as Minneota made a statement with a 55-0 win over Braham Friday in Monticello.
The win improved the defending Class champion Vikings to 12-0. It was their 18th straight victory.
Meagher, who came into the game with 1,689 yards rushing and 30 touchdowns scored on an 81-yard run and an 11 yard run in the game’s first five minutes as Minneota opened up a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. Rost caught a touchdown and ran one in and finished with three TDs on the night as the Vikings led 41-0 at the half.
The Vikings were coming off a close 14-6 win in the Section 5A final. They will now face Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (11-0) Saturday Nov. 18 at US Bank Stadium at 11:30 a.m. Minneota defeated Fillmore Central 28-27 in last year’s semifinals and beat Springfield 38-21 to win the Prep Bowl.

Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 28, Mayer Lutheran 6
The Jaguars remained undefeated with a 28-6 win over Mayer Lutheran Thursday, Nov. 9.
Senior quarterback Luke Dingmann surpassed 2,500 yards of total offense with a 91-yard run to give BBE a 16-0 lead. The Jaguars got off to a good start when Jack Lundberg scored in the first quarter on a 27-yard run.
Dingmann then connected with Luke Illies on a touchdown pass for a 22-0 lead.
Early in the fourth quarter Mayer Lutheran scored to make it 226, but Lundberg returned the ensuing kickoff 75 yards to ice the game at 28-6.
The Jaguars are 11-0 and will face reigning state champion Minneota Saturday at US Bank Stadium at 11:30 a.m.
Springfield 22, Fillmore Central 12
Jakob Nachreiner threw two touchdown passes, giving him 50 on the season as Springfield advanced to the state semifinals for the second year in a row with a 22-12 win over Fillmore Central.
Nachreiner threw for 126 yards and connected with Carter Olson on a 20-yard and 7-yard score. Fillmore Central led 12-6 at halftime thanks to two TD passes by senior Chase Chirstianson. Christianson hit Jayce Kiehne for a 22-yard touchdown and Greg Kennedy on a 45-yard score in the first half.
But Springfield countered in the third quarter when Nachreiner hit Olson form 20 yards out.
Ashton Toll sealed the win with a 2-yard TD run in the fourth quarter for the 22-12 victory.
Springfield (11-1) will take on Mahnomen/Waubun (11-0) Saturday, Nov. 18 at 9 a.m.
Mahnomen/Waubun 18, Parkers Prairie 0
Mahnomen/Waubun remained undefeated with an 18-0 win over Parkers Prairie Friday in Brainerd.
Blake McMullen connected with Tanner Stech on touchdowns of 9 and 29 yards and Stech added a field goal for the 18-0 win.
It was Stech who kicked a game-winning field goal Nov. 3 when Mahnomen/Waubun defeated Ada-Borup West in the final seconds to advance to state.
