Family: Wife Trish and kids Gabby, 14, and Blake, 10.
Playing experience: Played HS Football at Tucson High in Tucson AZ. College was Arizona Western JC then Bemidji State University.
What made you decide to get into coaching football: I was a teacher for Minneapolis Public Schools and the principal’s son played at Holy Angels and she referred me to the Head Coach Mike Pendino, who is my mentor.
Describe your coaching philosophy: Life lessons through the game of football. Technique Effort Attitude Mental Toughness. T.E.A.M. is our pillars.
What’s your favorite practice drill: Drills are a big part of football and all are important and fun.
What is one thing you instill in your players: Discipline and hard work.
What do you love most about the game of football: I love the competition and grind and don’t forget Friday Night Lights!
