Eagan, Minn.(August 31, 2021)–The Minnesota Vikings announce they will host a pair of high school football games this season at TCO Stadium as part of the Vikings Prep Spotlight series presented by Twin Cities Orthopedics. The 2021 series features a tradition-rich rivalry being renewed and a matchup of rising programs with sights set on a state title quest.
Friday, September 10 – Robbinsdale Cooper vs. Waconia (home team) at 7 p.m.
Friday, September 17 – Saint Thomas Academy vs. Cretin-Derham Hall (home team) at 7 p.m.
The Vikings Prep Spotlight began with the opening of TCO Performance Center and TCO Stadium in 2018. The Vikings have hosted five Prep Spotlight games over the 2018 and 2019 seasons and hosted another three MSHSL state quarterfinal playoff games in 2018.
Ticketed student fans will be offered discounted admission to the Minnesota Vikings Museum ($10). Parking is free, and fans can access lots via Vikings Parkway or Ames Crossing, using the 2600 Vikings Circle address. Walk-up tickets will be available at TCO Stadium and ticket pricing will be at the regular home team rate- $8 adults/$6 students for Waconia and $6/$4 for Cretin-Derham Hall.
